One-to-One and Relationship Counselling in Salford
If you are looking for an empathetic counsellor in Salford, I am here to help. Contact Isabelle at 121 Counselling in Salford.
Anyone can benefit from counselling and you don't need big issues to access counselling. Counselling is useful for prevention, and sessions can really help if you are unsure of making the right decision in your personal or working life, for example. I am able to counsel individuals and I am also trained in couple therapy, as well as being a supervisor for other counsellors and trainees.
I am also passionate about working with families. This is all about improving parenting, improving relationships between parents and children, improving confidence as a parent and managing siblings relationships. I also help families to work on their listening, understanding and communication.
In a one-to-one setting, this space will give you the opportunity to talk, explore and reflect on what is going on for you at present in a safe and non-judgemental environment. You will have the ability to talk about your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and have a better understanding of self and what is going around you
£50 for individuals
This is a talking therapy where, as a couple, you discuss your thoughts, feelings and behaviours within a relationship. The aim is to help both of you strengthen your relationship and gain a better understanding of each other. It will help you to develop your communication skills and learn better to express your needs within the relationship.
£60 for couples and relationship counselling
Relationships counselling can be beneficial for any other relationship (siblings, parent –child, friends etc.)
In addition of being a counsellor, I am also a supervisor. I supervise trainee counsellors, providing support, mentoring, casework supervision, and guidance on ethical practice and challenges.
With qualified counsellors, I strive to enable them to develop as therapists, help them get the most from their continuing professional development, and improve their practice as a counsellor, while paying attention to their work-life balance.
Supervision is crucial and valuable for the supervisee to reflect on themselves as a practitioner. My approach as a supervisor is genuine and honest. It is important for me to listen, explore and reflect on what the supervisee is bringing to the counselling experience.
